Job summary

RTX in East Hartford, CT is seeking an Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering Methods Engineering Intern to translate engineering needs into software requirements and drive creation of scalable web applications.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, design maintainable solutions, and ensure on-time delivery while gaining aerospace industry insight and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and actively enrolled through completion of the internship session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the needs of the engineering organization and translate those needs into clear software requirements which will drive the design, development, and testing of high-quality web applications for the engineering organization
• Interface and collaborate with our stakeholders/customers to understand requirements, manage our software products, and communicate progress
• Create strategies for developing scalable and maintainable applications
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Drive improvements in our software engineering processes and practice

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
