Job summary

The Aftermarket Material Senior Buyer at Peugeot Sport (Stellantis Motorsport) will manage sourcing, contract execution and supplier performance for assigned commodities, coordinating with engineering, program teams and finance to optimize cost and delivery. You will lead RFQ activity, negotiate with suppliers, and prepare purchase agreements while expanding the global supplier base.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or closely related field.
• 5+ years of purchasing experience or closely related field.
• Strong communication skills and highly customer focused.
• Strong fluency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Well organized, self-motivated, and resourceful managing complex situations.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and can interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of senior management.
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage RFQ activity leveraging the global supplier bid list and aligning to strategic objectives.
• Perform supplier negotiations to drive best in class results.
• Make supplier recommendations during Sourcing Table decision meetings.
• Generate the Purchase Agreement (contract) in line with the supplier selection made (REC).
• Identify potential new suppliers around the world.
• Prepare, manage, execute resourcing activities (including cross functional collaboration).
• Support campaigns / recalls as needed to ensure appropriate purchasing action.
• Manage and negotiate purchasing performance through execution of contractual requirements (e.g., productivity) and negotiating/monitoring the whole set of available leverages like commercial performance (including commercial claims), Monozokuri, Value Optimization (VO) and Raw Material indexation/optimization.
• Manage reporting requirements (eg: Performance roadmap, Resource Activity, etc.).
• Coordinate with Aftermarket marketing/planning to enhance profitability, Aftermarket quality to ensure flawless builds, as well as with engineering, supply chain management and finance to support business operations
• Work with suppliers and supply chain to ensure prompt resolution to supply issues, including Vehicle’s off road (VOR’s) and Backorders, ensuring suppliers provide parts as required
• Manage assigned suppliers, including but not limited to timely resolution of issues, ensure supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery, etc.), and escalation as needed
• Manage the administrative work attached to these activities (Purchase orders, amendments, etc)

Job description

The Aftermarket Material Senior Buyer will be responsible to manage sourcing, contract execution and supplier performance for an assigned set of commodities.

The Aftermarket Material Senior Buyer will interact with various stakeholders at Stellantis (Engineering, Program Team, Supplier Quality, Supplier Risk Management, Purchasing Finance, Accounting, Cost Engineers) in order to coordinate the various actions to manage Request for Quotations or Contract Execution and Maintenance.

Functional Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or closely related field
• 5 + years of purchasing experience or closely related field

• Strong fluency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Well organized, self-motivated, and resourceful managing complex situations
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and can effectively interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of senior management
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 8 years of purchasing experience or closely related field
• Experience with SAP
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Experience working in a global environment
