The Aftermarket Service Sales Manager will be responsible for executing the company’s service sales role, prospecting new customers, providing total customer service throughout the order lifecycle, and offering aftermarket support as needed. An ideal weekly job distribution would be 80% pursuing new business and 20% completing office work.

The territory for this position covers the State of Kentucky and surrounding markets. (Territory details will be clarified during the interview process).

This position offers a competitive base salary plus a generous commission structure.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Engage in sales activities to acquire new accounts, increase market share, maintain and develop existing accounts, and implement the company’s sales strategy.
  • Maintain regular personal contact with all existing accounts within the territory.
  • Prepare accurate, detailed account quotations and maintain a comprehensive virtual quote file.
  • Perform site visits to review jobs, take measurements, record relevant information related to job scope, and gather data necessary for thorough quotes.
  • Travel within the assigned territory as required, including overnight stays.
  • Maintain a CRM log of all account visits, potential business opportunities, and the status of active quotes.
  • Obtain credit applications and sales tax information for new accounts and forward to accounting for setup.
  • Follow established company policies, safety rules, and procedures, including those of customers.
  • Assist with the collection of past due accounts when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least two (2) years of industrial equipment sales experience.

Experience in the overhead crane industry is preferred.

  • A bachelor’s degree or associate degree is preferred; however, equivalent experience and training will be considered.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
