Job summary

HyAxiom, Inc. is seeking an Aftermarket Materials Planner to ensure availability of aftermarket inventory for service, parts requests, and warranty replacements.

The role collaborates with Supply Chain, Field Service, Engineering, Logistics and Warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels and maintain continuity of operations. The position requires a solid foundation in inventory planning, MRP, and ERP systems, plus experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations management, engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in materials planning or inventory management.
• Experience in manufacturing, service, or distribution environments.
• Familiarity with procurement and inventory control processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety stock levels to ensure inventory availability.
• Monitor inventory positions and recommend replenishment actions.
• Track aftermarket requests from initiation to fulfillment.
• Coordinate material movements between warehouses, service depots, and suppliers.
• Analyze consumption trends, lead times, and stocking parameters.
• Use MRP to generate and execute replenishment plans.
• Monitor shortages and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain planning data including lead times and reorder points.
• Collaborate with Procurement to expedite critical materials.
• Work with Logistics and Warehouse to ensure accurate transactions.
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Review BOM integrity for aftermarket assemblies.
• Assess risks, excess inventory and obsolescence.
• Develop inventory and service level KPIs and report to management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in inventory planning.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.
