Job Overview

Summary/Objective

The Aftermarket Sales Manager, LNG & Engineered Pumps will work to monetize the installed base by driving expansion of Aftermarket and maintenance services in the industrial gas arena within an assigned region. This role involves building customer relationships to identify unmet client needs that drive sales opportunities and repeat business, and developing sales plans that meet and exceed quota.

Applicants should demonstrate a solid understanding of sales and account management principles, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit to drive annuity sales growth. Successful candidates will have a proven track record in similar roles in service/aftermarket, pumps, rotating equipment, or capital equipment sales.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Territory Management: Manage all sales activities within the assigned territory, including maintaining a robust pipeline of prospects that meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships; understand customer needs to maximize value.
  • Customer Service and Support: Respond to customer inquiries and RFQs professionally and promptly. Identify new business opportunities. Collaborate with internal resources to ensure customer needs are understood and satisfied to high service standards.

  • Sales Plan Development: Develop and implement regional sales plans to drive growth.

  • Sales Training: Attend training to develop selling skills, account management, product knowledge, and industry trends.

  • Contract Negotiations: Lead negotiations and finalize contracts and agreements.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent and promote the company’s values and products at industry events and trade shows.

Education Requirements

  • Minimum of an associate's degree; bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Professional English proficiency; Spanish is a plus.

Experience

  • 5+ years in sales or business development relevant to cryogenic equipment, pumps, or industrial rotating equipment.
  • Proven track record of growing sales.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; cross-functional collaboration.

Physical Demands

  • Stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, talk, hear, type, and handle objects; lift files and open drawers.
  • Overtime may be necessary; may include weekends, nights, or holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 42 lbs.
  • Use standard office equipment.

Work Environment

  • Work from home. Job will generally be performed in an office but may require travel to client sites or facilities. Conditions vary by location.

Safety

  • Complete safety training requirements; participate in other training as directed; wear Nikkiso approved PPE as needed and direct others to do the same.
