Heart of Hospice, part of the Optum family, seeks an Afterhours Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive hospice care to patients and families after regular hours, including nights and weekends. Primary duties include telephone triage, afterhours visits, and evaluating eligibility within 48 hours of referral.
Required RN licensure in Louisiana, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, plus CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

As the Afterhours Registered Nurse your primary focus is to conduct comprehensive and timely delivery of hospice care for patients and their families after regular business hours, including at night and on the weekends.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
