PRN After-Hours role supporting a growing service line, providing flexible 8-10 hour coverage between 3:30 PM and 8:00 AM where you will be triaging visits remotely in addition to completing field visits throughout the shift. This position serves as key backup for call-outs and PTO, triaging patient needs and completing field visits throughout the shift. Shift options include evening, late night, and overnight hours, with visits focused on urgent needs, symptom management, and patient support.

The Hospice nurse builds from the resources of the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individuals and families within their home environments. May provide patient care to premature infants, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young, middle and older adults.
The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. In a healthcare setting, exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and conditions typical to the field is expected. Routine use of standard medical equipment and tools associated with clinical care is essential. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
