Job summary

Kids 'R' Kids University Center in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking an Aftercare Teacher/Bus Driver to provide a blend of classroom support and safe transportation for children. You will transport, supervise aftercare activities, and lead engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent), a clean MVR, and at least 1 year in licensed childcare; ProSolutions training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 7-year MVR.
• ProSolutions transportation training or willingness to complete.
• At least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare setting.
• Knowledge of state childcare rules and regulations.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children to and from school and activities.
• Perform pre- and post-trip bus inspections and maintain transportation records.
• Supervise, engage, and support children during aftercare hours.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities to promote learning and creativity.
• Encourage cooperation, maintain discipline, and model positive behavior.
• Follow all state childcare regulations and center policies.
