Job summary

Landon School in Bethesda, MD seeks an After School/Extended Day Coordinator for its after school program (3:15-6:15, Mon-Fri). This part-time, 9-month role supports boys in grades 3-8 by supervising activities, assisting with homework, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include supervising students on campus, maintaining attendance records, communicating with parents, and coordinating snacks and materials.

Landon School, an independent boys school in Bethesda, MD for grades 3-12, seeks an After School/Extended Day Coordinator for their after school program with ours 3:15-6:15 M-F. This program is designed for boys in grades 3-8 and the purpose is to provide a safe, supervised space in which students may work on their homework, read silently, or relax after school. The position is a part-time, 9-month, nonexempt position that reports to the Director of Auxiliary Programs.

• 3. Provide homework help as needed
• 4. Maintain accurate records of attendance
• 5. Distribute snacks, sports equipment, and games

• 8. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience working with children in an academic/educational environment preferred
• Excellent communication and customer services skills
• Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently

The expected rate of pay for this position is $22 -25 per hour.
