Job summary

Soccer Shots DuPage County is seeking enthusiastic coaches to join our team this fall. This part-time role involves running sessions for children ages 2-8, introducing soccer through engaging, age-appropriate activities that build confidence and love for physical activity.

No experience? We provide paid training and all the tools you need. You will coach 2:30 PM–6:30 PM on weekdays, with flexible hours and opportunities for professional development within our award-winning program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to locations throughout DuPage County.
• Daily access to a smartphone and internet.
• Ability to pass a background check, fingerprinting, and medical screening.
• Ability to work weekday afternoons (approximately 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM)

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise groups of 5–10 children.
• Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and Soccer Shots leadership.
• Represent Soccer Shots positively at all locations.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate soccer sessions for young children.

Soccer Shots is an award-winning children's soccer program that serves preschools, childcare centers, parks, and community locations throughout DuPage County. Our curriculum is designed by early childhood education specialists and soccer professionals to create a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate experience for every child.

Part-Time Youth Soccer Coach

Fall season, 4-16 Hours Per Week, Weekday Afternoons (Approx. 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM).

• Arrive on time and prepared for every session
• Effectively manage groups of 5-10 children
• Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and Soccer Shots leadership

Energetic & Engaging

• Enjoy being active, enthusiastic, and encouraging
• Comfortable being silly, imaginative, and interactive with young children
• Create a fun and positive learning environment

Professional

• Friendly, approachable, and dependable
• Represents Soccer Shots positively at all locations
• Maintains a professional appearance and attitude

Experienced with Children

• Experience working with young children is strongly preferred
• Teaching, coaching, childcare, camp counseling, or education experience is a plus
• Soccer experience is helpful but not required
