Job summary

SUPER SOCCER STARS in Houston invites applications for a part-time youth soccer coach. You will teach fundamental skills, lead practice sessions, and provide feedback to help young players develop confidence and ability. Maintain a safe, positive environment and show up prepared for each class in the afternoons.

The role emphasizes program development, teamwork, and fostering a love for the game while offering opportunities for advancement within a vibrant coaching staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sports coaching is a plus but not required.
• Experience with students or youth in an educational or athletic setting is a plus but not required.
• Ability to create a fun, energetic, and safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach fundamental soccer skills, including dribbling, passing and shooting.
• Manage behavior effectively to create a respectful and focused atmosphere.
• Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their performance.
• Organize and oversee practice sessions, drills, and scrimmages.
• Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among players.
• Ensure the safety of all participants during classes.
• Show up on time and prepared for each class (physically and mentally).
