Job summary

SUPER SOCCER STARS in Katy/Cypress seeks energetic part-time coaches to teach foundational soccer skills to children aged 1–12 in a fun, non-competitive environment. You will lead sessions, reinforce safety, and help players build confidence while fostering positive social interaction.

Shifts include mornings and afternoons with total weekly hours around 10. Competitive pay, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sports coaching is great but not required.
• Experience working with students or youth in an educational or athletic setting is great but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach fundamental soccer skills, including dribbling, passing and shooting.
• Manage behavior effectively to create a respectful and focused atmosphere.
• Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their performance.
• Organize and oversee practice sessions, drills, and scrimmages.
• Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among players.
• Ensure the safety of all participants during classes.
• Show up on time and prepared for each class (physically and mentally)

• Mornings 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
• Afternoons: 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Soccer Stars is the nation’s most popular children’s soccer program for ages 1 to 12+. Our goal is to help children improve their gross motor and soccer skills. Our coaches create a fun, non-competitive, and educational environment to ensure children develop self-confidence and physical literacy in every class.
