Job summary

The City of Burien's Recreation Division seeks enthusiastic individuals to support youth programming and be positive role models for elementary and middle school participants.

You will assist with day-to-day activities, help set up equipment, supervise participants, and may transport youth using a city van to various sites (21+). This temporary, part-time role offers evening/weekend hours through June 2027.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in youth programs or related field.
• Any equivalent combination of education, training, experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of youth participants at assigned programming sites.
• Assist in program and activity development.
• Assist in setup and takedown of programming materials and equipment.
• May provide transportation for youth using a city van to various sites (Incumbents over 21).
