Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio is hiring Youth Development Professionals for the Elyria South Club in Elyria, Ohio. These part-time roles support after-school programming and provide a safe, engaging environment for local youth.

Responsibilities include planning activities, promoting participation, assisting with recruitment, and occasional van driving with a valid license. Schedule typically 2 pm–6 pm, 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with youth preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Final candidates must clear a background check and drug test.
• 18 years of age with a High School Diploma

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement after-school program activities.
• Track program participation and promote engagement.
• Assist with membership recruitment.
• Occasionally drive the BGCNEO van as needed.

Are you interested in Making a Difference in the Lives of Local Youth? Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio is hiring NOW! We have immediate openings for Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) at our Elyria South Club in Elyria, Ohio . Our YDPs assist with after-school programming at our Clubs

We are looking for individuals with a passion for working with youth, in supervised, fun and safe environments. Our YDPs are responsible for planning and implementing appropriate program activities; tracking, promoting and encouraging program participation; and assisting with membership recruitment. This position may also need to drive our vehicles and a Valid Driver's License, and clean driving record is required.

• Positions are Part-time, Monday-Friday
• Approx schedule is 2 pm - 6 pm - 20 hours per week.
• Starting pay rate is $ 17 per hour.
