Job summary

Mentoring Alliance seeks ministry-minded individuals to join our After School team as a Daycare Worker. This non-exempt, part-time role focuses on fostering youth development by leading elementary students in enrichment activities after school.

The ideal candidate is devoted to excellence, wholeheartedness, and developing kids to reach their full potential. CPR/First Aid certification is mandatory, and a background check is required; Spanish-speaking ability is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with elementary school-aged children is preferred.
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory).
• Background/Sex offender check required.
• Valid driver's license or valid ID.
• Legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Spanish-speaking ability is valued.
• Able to work Monday – Friday 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities after school.
• Support youth development and model positive behavior.
• Collaborate with program staff to create a safe, engaging environment.
