Job summary

Mentoring Alliance is seeking ministry-minded individuals to join the After School team as Youth Mentors. The role focuses on fostering youth development in an after school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities and serving as a positive role model in a faith-based community.

Youth Mentors are non-exempt, part-time staff averaging 17–20 hours per week, with a commitment to excellence and service. Spanish-speaking ability is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check.
• Able to work Monday–Friday 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year.
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory).
• Legally allowed to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities after school.
• Foster youth development in a safe, supportive environment.
• Supervise and assist program activities during after‑school hours.
