SBCS Chula Vista is seeking a School Programs Youth Leader for the 2026-2027 After School program at Granger Junior. The role focuses on supervising 10–20 youth, delivering academic enrichment, and fostering social-emotional well-being in a team setting.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with AA/BA preferred. Prior youth work and dependable, patient leadership are essential; evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be one year removed from high school graduation.
• AA or BA is highly desirable for advancement.
• Minimum of one year working with youth is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support groups of 10–20 youth in after-school program.
• Assist in academic enrichment and leadership development activities.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and program documentation.
• Coordinate activities and materials, ensuring safety and orderly transitions.
• Build positive relationships with school staff and SBCS partners.
• Provide tutoring and guidance to help students meet performance goals.
