Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC. is looking for a part-time youth coach to teach one hour per day at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Sessions run Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–5:00 PM, with optional 30 minutes of pre-care. Pay is $50–$65 per session, and all equipment is provided.

The role requires in-person availability, a positive energy, and reliable transportation. Training/shadowing is provided, and you will engage with students, staff, and parents while keeping activities fun and safe.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old upon application.
• Candidates must live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.
• Must complete photo and short biography to upload on the website and describe your sports experience.

Job Overview

Our programs are held at various elementary schools, Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This is a part‑time position where coaches typically teach one class per day (about one hour), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of pre‑care. These sessions focus on creating a fun and energetic environment for younger and beginner‑level children.

The pay ranges from $50–$65 per session, and all equipment is provided by us.

Requirements

Programs are offered at multiple schools across the Bay Area. Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in‑person work.

We do have other Programs like Tennis, Soccer, PE, Pickleball, Volleyball, Basketball, Floor Hockey and Dance. You’re welcome to apply to any of these as well.
