Program Details
  • Children's Programs Start Date: Tuesday, September 10, 2024
  • Role: Volleyball Coach (Part-Time)
  • Schedule: Weekly Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 10, 2024, to October 31, 2024, following the BSC calendar
Practices and Games
  • Practices: 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM
  • Games: Home games start at 3:30 PM, lasting approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, ending around 5:00 PM for home games and 6:00 PM for away games. Duration may vary based on proximity.
Pay Rates
  • Head Coach: $40-$50 per hour
  • Assistant Coach: $25-$30 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Communicate weekly with families via email
  • Build relationships with students, faculty, and families
  • Enforce BSC principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Supervise students and staff during clinics
  • Mentor students and model professional leadership
  • Ensure safety and oversee student dismissal after practices
Qualifications
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's preferred
  • Experience coaching or playing volleyball with youth or school-age children
  • Availability from September to October for practices and meetings
  • Willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certification
Preferred Skills

Experience in youth sports and family engagement activities, teamwork, and working with children in small groups or individually.
