Agape Development in Houston, TX seeks an After School Teacher Assistant to support K-5 students in a Christ-centered program. This role offers a meaningful chance to mentor children, share biblical values, and reinforce their academic and social growth after school.

You will welcome and supervise students, lead activities and tutoring, and model Christ-like character while engaging families and volunteers in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active relationship with Jesus Christ and love for kids
• Ability to engage groups of children in a positive, supportive way
• High energy and stamina for afternoon hours
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Welcome and supervise K-5 students each day
• Lead structured activities and tutoring times to support learning
• Model Christ-like character and build trusting relationships
• Present Biblical principles in age-appropriate ways and answer questions
