The Tutorverse in Manhattan is hiring a classroom Teaching Assistant for small group test-prep classes. You will help prepare materials, sign students in/out, and support the teacher with group activities and homework checks.

Qualifications

• College students encouraged to apply; some collegiate education required.
• Ability to prioritize and follow up on issues in a timely manner.

• Willingness to participate in brief assessments during interview.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classrooms with materials and set up as needed.
• Sign students in/out and ensure guardians pick up properly.
• Build rapport by facilitating activities with the teacher.
• Monitor behavior and address disruptions calmly.
• Keep logs of observations for management reports.
• Liaise with parents to relay class feedback to management.
• Serve as on-site contact for teachers and emergencies.
• Proctor practice tests and troubleshoot tardiness or behavior.
