Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to support early childhood learners in our centers. You will lead and mentor staff, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, engaging classroom where children grow and explore.

You will collaborate with families to support each child’s development and work with center staff to meet enrollment and accreditation goals, all within a supportive community atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• Bachelor’s or higher in Early Childhood Education is desirable, with state qualifications.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that fits each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to support the child’s education and development.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, staff, licensing authorities, and community partners.
