Job summary

Apple Tree Learning Centers in Stowe, Vermont is seeking a part-time After School Teacher to lead outdoor, play-based learning after school hours. You will design engaging activities, support children's social growth, and ensure safety with a caring, energetic team.

Shifts are on-site in the afternoons, with the possibility of progressing to a full-time role. Must be able to pass a background check and bring creativity, adaptability, and a positive, nurturing attitude to every outdoor learning

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR AFTER SCHOOL TEACHER

Each day, you will arrive ready to embrace the unpredictability and excitement that comes with outdoor, play-based learning. You will step outside with your students, prepared for Vermont's ever-changing weather, guiding them through discovery-driven activities in natural settings. You will intentionally shape programming around children's interests, fostering social interactions and resilience. As a vital force in your students' growth, you will manage the classroom environment, encourage curiosity, and promote safety and empathy while collaborating with a supportive team.
