Kïdo International Preschool in Austin, TX is seeking a Part-Time After School Teacher to support Kindergarten through 5th grade, Monday–Friday 2:00 PM–6:00 PM, with opportunities for extra hours. You’ll help create a safe, welcoming after-school environment where children can build friendships, complete homework, and enjoy meaningful activities after their school day.

Looking for a part-time role that fits your schedule, and still gives you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact? Join Kïdo International Preschool as a Part-Time After School Teacher , supporting children in Kindergarten through 5th grade during the school year.

Required Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM , with opportunities to work additional hours or a more full-time schedule for those who are interested.

You’ll help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging after-school environment where children can build friendships, explore their interests, complete homework, and enjoy meaningful activities after their school day.

What You’ll Do

Listen – Build positive relationships with children, understand their interests and needs, and create an inclusive environment where every child feels seen and supported.

Learn – Help children with homework, encourage curiosity, and support their social, emotional, and developmental growth through hands-on experiences and play.

Lead – Guide engaging activities, creative projects, games, outdoor play, and enrichment experiences that encourage teamwork, confidence, and independence.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience – Previous experience working with children in a school, after-school program, camp, or licensed childcare setting preferred
• Energy & Enthusiasm – A genuine passion for working with elementary-aged children in an active, engaging environment
• Team Player – Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Education – CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred
• Certifications – CPR & First Aid preferred
• Meaningful Work – Make a difference in the lives of elementary-aged children every afternoon
• Small Group Sizes – Build strong relationships and create engaging experiences for children
