Qualifications
Eligible for appropriate Maine Department of Education certification as Educational Technician I.
Course work in education or a related field is preferred.
Safety Care trained or willingness to complete Safety Care training upon hire.
Demonstrated ability to work calmly and effectively with students.
Reliable transportation and ability to report to work on short notice.
Responsibilities
Provide calm, supportive supervision for students.
Ensure student safety while awaiting parent/guardian pickup.
Implement de‑escalation techniques for distressed students.
Maintain accurate records of student arrivals and pickup times.
