Job summary

Brains and Motion Education in Watertown, MA is seeking a STEM Instructor for after-school enrichment. You will lead hands-on STEM activities, inspire students in grades K-8, and help them progress at their own pace using Lego Engineering and related projects.

This part-time role offers Monday sessions 3:15 PM to 4:30 PM starting September 14, 2026, at schools and campuses. Candidates should have 1–2 years in STEM, strong classroom skills, a background check, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in STEM subject areas (Lego Engineering).
• Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring; coaching/teaching experience encouraged.
• Excellent class management skills with students in grades K-8.
• Ability to pass a background check and lift 20–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire students in a STEM activity, expanding their imaginations and skills.
• Teach fundamentals from basic to advanced levels, allowing progress at each student’s pace.
• Foster a positive, collaborative environment emphasizing teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Implement BAM! STEM Program, such as Lego Engineering.
