A children's science enrichment provider located in Santa Clara is seeking an enthusiastic individual to facilitate after-school science classes for elementary-age kids. This role is part-time, requiring a fun personality and the ability to work flexible hours, specifically two weekdays after 2 p.m. The ideal candidate should have experience with young children and reliable transportation. Each session is a one-hour class focused on engaging and hands-on activities. Training will be provided, and compensation is $50 per class conducted.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience working with groups of children aged 4-12.
• Must be available at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.
• Reliable transportation is necessary, not public or ride-share.
• Employees will require fingerprinting for criminal background checks.
• Some college completed.
• Fun and outgoing personality.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitating a one-hour after‑school science enrichment program using a pre‑set curriculum.
• Each session is a high‑energy, part entertainment, part education, hands‑on class that meets for one hour each week for 8‑10 weeks.
• Enjoy teaching young children the art of science!
• Occasional daytime programming if your availability allows.
