Job summary

Play-Well is seeking enthusiastic instructors to lead LEGO classes and camps for students, guiding them through STEM concepts and creative problem-solving. You will plan activities, ensure safety, and keep participants engaged in a dynamic learning environment.

This part-time role requires reliable transportation, flexible afternoon hours, and the ability to move and store LEGO materials. Training is provided, and you will be expected to communicate effectively with parents and Area Manager.

Qualifications

• Work history varies. Teaching/instruction experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation a must; secure location to store teaching materials.
• Lift up to 40 lbs to store and transport materials; bending, stooping and crawling with children during class instruction.
• Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage each class session, ensuring children are safe, engaged, and having fun.
• Communicate with parents and clients in a knowledgeable and respectful manner.
• Adhere to safety procedures for supervision and release of children.
• Care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kits.

If so, then this may be your dream job!We are looking for smart, creative, dynamic instructors from all backgrounds to teach LEGO classes and camps where students are introduced to a range of STEM concepts while being given the tools to unlock their creativity and their problem-solving skills.Schedule:School Year: M-F afternoons, part-time, flexible, occasional weekend hoursSummer: M-F, half-day and full-day camps, typically between 9am and 4pm, plus setup/breakdownCompensation: Instructors are paid for all hours worked, including teaching, setup, round trip drive time, and training.
