Job summary

Play-Well LEGO in Ojai, CA seeks smart, creative instructors to lead LEGO classes and camps for kids, with after-school and summer programs. You’ll teach STEM concepts, manage activities, and ensure safety and engagement while making learning fun.

Teaching experience is preferred; reliable transportation and ability to lift materials up to 40 lbs required. Part-time, afternoons and some weekends; drive time and materials are reimbursed; benefits available after thresholds.

Qualifications

• Teaching/Instruction experience preferred.
• Experience with children in an educational setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage each class session, ensuring children are safe, engaged, and having fun.
• Communicate with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful manner.
• Deliver LEGO-based lessons and activities that teach STEM concepts.
• Adhere to safety procedures for supervision and release of children.

If so, then this may be your dream job!We are looking for smart, creative, dynamic instructors from all backgrounds to teach LEGO classes and camps where students are introduced to a range of STEM concepts while being given the tools to unlock their creativity and their problem-solving skills.Schedule:School Year: M-F afternoons, part-time, flexible, occasional weekend hoursSummer: M-F, half-day and full-day camps, typically between 9am and 4pm, plus setup/breakdownCompensation: Instructors are paid for all hours worked, including teaching, setup, round trip drive time, and training.
