Job summary

Play-Well Teknologies is seeking an enthusiastic LEGO instructor to lead after-school and camp sessions in New Haven, CT. You will guide students through LEGO-based STEM activities, keeping safety and engagement at the forefront while adapting to diverse abilities and interests.

The role offers part-time hours with weekday afternoons, possible weekend shifts, and seasonal camps. Training is provided, and you’ll collaborate with the Area Manager to ensure a positive student experience.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or instructing children is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to site and able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Pass background checks as a condition of employment.
• Able to engage kids in LEGO-based STEM activities safely.

Responsibilities

• Lead LEGO classes and camps with safety and engagement.
• Explain concepts and demonstrate problem-solving using LEGO materials.
• Communicate with parents and Area Manager as needed.

If so, then this may be your dream job!We are looking for smart, creative, dynamic instructors from all backgrounds to teach LEGO classes and camps where students are introduced to a range of STEM concepts while being given the tools to unlock their creativity and their problem-solving skills.Schedule:School Year: M-F afternoons, part-time, flexible, occasional weekend hoursSummer: M-F, half-day and full-day camps, typically between 9am and 4pm, plus setup/breakdownCompensation: Instructors are paid for all hours worked, including teaching, setup, round trip drive time, and training.
