Job summary

Play-Well is seeking smart, creative instructors to teach LEGO classes and camps where students explore STEM concepts and unlock creativity and problem-solving skills.

Schedule: School year afternoons (part-time) and summer camps; requires reliable transportation, background checks, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Training provided and kit care required.

Qualifications

• Teaching/Instruction experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation a must; secure location to store teaching materials.
• Lift up to 40 lbs to store and transport materials; bending, stooping and crawling with children during class instruction.
• Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach LEGO classes and camps helping students learn STEM concepts.
• Ensure children are safe, engaged and having fun during sessions.
• Communicate with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful way.
• Adhere to safety procedures and supervision/release protocols for children.
• Care for and upkeep of LEGO teaching kit(s).

If so, then this may be your dream job!We are looking for smart, creative, dynamic instructors from all backgrounds to teach LEGO classes and camps where students are introduced to a range of STEM concepts while being given the tools to unlock their creativity and their problem-solving skills.Schedule:School Year: M-F afternoons, part-time, flexible, occasional weekend hoursSummer: M-F, half-day and full-day camps, typically between 9am and 4pm, plus setup/breakdownCompensation: Instructors are paid for all hours worked, including teaching, setup, round trip drive time, and training.
