Job summary

Citizens of the World Charter School - Los Angeles is seeking an Enrichment Elective Instructor to lead engaging, age-appropriate after-school sessions for students from Transitional Kindergarten to 8th grade.

You will plan and deliver 8-10 weekly sessions in academics, recreation, and STEAM, creating a safe, supportive learning environment and building positive relationships with families and staff. 2-6 pm shifts, pay ranges from $25 to $65 per hour, with background checks required.

Qualifications

• Lead or teach groups of children with the ability to engage and inspire youth.

• Experience interacting with diverse communities and the ability to integrate into an existing school community.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in fun, interactive, and age-appropriate after-school electives in academics, recreation, and STEAM.
• Plan 8-10, 1-hour to 1.5-hour sessions of electives.
• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment; Support social and emotional development.
• Develop a strong school culture by motivating faculty, administrators, parents, and volunteers.
• Communicate with a respectful and positive attitude in the CWC LA Community.
