Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. seeks energetic After-School Sports Coaches to work with elementary students in Basketball, Soccer, and Flag Football across Palm Beach County.

This part-time, after-school role runs Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with 1.5-hour sessions and provides curriculum and equipment. Ideal candidates are college students in education, kinesiology, sports management, recreation, or related fields who want hands-on youth coaching experience and a flexible afternoon

Qualifications

• Experience playing or coaching Basketball, Soccer, or Flag Football is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with children in grades K through 5
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout the Palm Beach area
• Dependable and punctual
• Must successfully complete the required school district background check and fingerprinting process

Responsibilities

• Coach elementary students in Basketball, Soccer, and Flag Football activities
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and participation
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
