Job summary

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking a Site Director for the School Age Program. This part-time role (up to 28 hours per week, more during school breaks) requires strong leadership to guide staff and ensure high-quality camp experiences for children.

Must be 21+, bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, with CPR/First Aid certification. The position emphasizes safety, accountability, and positive guidance in a supportive YMCA culture.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising staff working with children is preferred.
  • Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (provided by YMCA) required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

  • Engage campers and motivate staff for an amazing day camp experience.
  • Ensure high quality programs and plan new activities.
  • Train and schedule staff and volunteers as needed.
  • Ensure program standards, safety procedures, and licensing compliance.
  • Develop and implement programming for the assigned site.
  • Supervise all staff and provide direction during activities.
