Job summary

BE Great in Pocalla Spring Elementary is seeking a part-time program specialist/aid to support after-school activities. Hours are 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday, 3–4 hours per day, with August–May schedule and varying summer hours.

You will supervise programs, promote safety, and contribute to a positive club environment. The role emphasizes youth development, strong communication with staff, youth, parents, and community partners, and the ability to work with diverse groups.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or higher.
• Program delivery experience 6 months to 2 years.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and promote Core Values.
• Implement Curriculum.
• Plan, implement, facilitate, and supervise programs and activities.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to members.
• Design displays promoting program areas.
• Assist in national projects and exhibits.
• Mentor and inspire youth, adults and volunteers.
• Keep records of participants, schedules, attendance and results.
• Mandatory First Aid/CPR.
• Other duties as assigned.
