Job summary

Children’s Aid is seeking a Facilitator for its after-school enrichment program in New York. The Facilitator will supervise a group of up to 15 middle school participants, model positive behaviors, and help design engaging activities.

Candidates should be pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree, be bilingual in English and Spanish if possible, and have at least one year of experience with children or tutoring.

Qualifications

• Seeking applicants pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree.
• English/Spanish bilingual ability preferred.
• Experience working with children, tutoring, or teaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of up to 15 middle school participants.
• Develop lesson plans, teach, supervise, and organize games.
• Lead literacy-based activities and project-based learning.
• Deliver tutoring in reading, writing, and math during Learning Zone.
• Communicate with Program Director about lesson planning and implementation.
• Attend staff meetings and support program operations.
