Job summary

Skokie School District 69 seeks After School Program Leaders to guide a small group of elementary (K-2 or 3-5) or middle school (6-8) students in daily enrichment and community-building activities at Madison Elementary School.

You will build positive relationships with students to support their success and well-being while hosting programs in art, sports, cooking and other interests.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in making decisions regarding the safety and welfare of students.
• Ability to perform assigned duties and tasks with a minimum of direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small group of students in daily enrichment programs and community-building activities.

• Coordinate and supervise activities such as art, sports, recreation, cooking and other interest-based programs.

The After School Program Leaders (ASPL) will lead a small group of elementary (Grades K-2 or 3-5) or middle school (Grades 6-8) students in daily interest-based enrichment programs and community-building. Programming includes art, sports & recreation, cooking and other interest-based activities. The After School Program Leaders (ASPL) will build positive relationships with students that support their success and well-being.

Organizational Relationship

The After School Club Program Leader reports directly to the TOSA- Student Activities Coordinator

This is a temporary and seasonal position with work scheduled during a Fall, Winter and Spring Session paid at an hourly rate of $17.50.
