Job summary

WDSRA in Carol Stream, IL is hiring Recreational Inclusion Aides to assist youth with special needs in after-school programs. You will focus on providing 1:1 support to one child while engaging in sports, games, crafts and inclusive activities.

Ideal candidates are 16+ with reliable transportation, able to work independently, and available Monday through Friday from 3:15pm to 6:30pm. The role runs November through December 18, with potential continuation in the next semester and flexible

Job Description:

• We're hiring RecreationalInclusion Aides to assist youth with special needs as they participate in After School Programs.
• Your focus will be supporting one child 1:1

Locations:

• Elementary Schools' gymnasiums and playgroundsin Carol Stream, West Chicago, Bloomingdale.
• We cannot guarantee which community you will work in, as it depends where kids have registered and our staffing needs; but we will take your preferences into consideration.

Hours/Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 3:15pm - 6:30pm
• From November to December 18 th .
• You'll have the option to continue in the next semester (January - May).
• We can be flexible. Some students only attend Tue/Thurs or M/W/F; but ideal candidates are available 5 afternoons per week.
• Average 6 - 17 hours weekly (or possibly more, if interested)
• When there's no school, the program doesn't run.
• Competitive wages ($16.50 - $20)
