Job summary

Cherokee County School District (GA) Holly Springs Elementary School - Canton, Georgia is hiring a 26-27 After School Program Worker (Temporary Position) for an hourly role in the After School Program. The position reports to the After School Program Coordinator and requires a high school diploma or GED consideration, with duties including supervising students and coordinating activities.

Starting immediately, pay is $15 per hour for a part-time, temporary assignment.

Qualifications

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of GED testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with roll call to ensure accountability for all students.
• Assists in planning and implementing student activities for assigned classes.
• Maintains proper records and distributes snacks.
• Actively supervises students during daily activities.
• Maintains behavior and safety and informs coordinator of disciplinary needs.
• Attends after school staff meetings and required trainings.
• Maintains good attendance and notifies when absent.
• Follows safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Follows laws and school board policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
