Job summary

Sycamore School is seeking several hard-working, responsible individuals for its after-school program for the 2026-2027 academic year. The program runs Monday through Friday from 2:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., August through May, with possible summer hours.

Applicants will help supervise and engage students in activities, monitor homework and attendance, and prepare the space for daily operations. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (some college preferred) and experience working with children

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Experience working with children in a camp, preschool, daycare or other early childhood environment.
• Team player with flexibility to adjust to varying situations.
• Ability to develop and maintain appropriate working relationships and communication with children, parents, staff and supervisor.
• Ability to occasionally work a flexible schedule when needed

Responsibilities

• Lead students in various games and crafts.

• Set up snacks and organize the room for the day.
• Take daily attendance and comply with sign in/out procedures.

• leading students in various games and crafts
• monitoring daily homework time and quiet time
• setting up snacks and organizing the room for the day
• taking daily attendance and complying with sign in/out procedures
• and other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator or Director of Extended Programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:
