Overview

The After School Program Aide will assist in various duties that support the program and permanent staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in the day-to-day operations of the After School Program
2. Participate in weekly staff meetings
3. Provide snacks to the after-school program participants
4. Assist with monitoring program participants during activities
5. Take the lead in program activities
6. Assist with transportation of program participants
7. Ensure the safe check-in and check-out of children participating in the program
8. Assist with cleaning and resetting program areas
9. Assist with cleaning of the kitchen and dining area
10. Perform other related duties as required

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• CA driver’s license (required)
• Must be at least 21 years old (required)
• Experience working in an after-school program
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs

Skills and Abilities

• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
• Team player
• Excellent communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
