Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking an After School Sports Instructor to lead organized programs for elementary students in Glen Burnie or Laurel. Sessions run from 2:30pm to 5:30pm, typically 2 days per week, with the opportunity to support multiple after-school programs throughout the week.

The role focuses on teaching fundamentals across sports like soccer, basketball, flag football, and more, while ensuring safety, organization, and enjoyable experiences for children.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to lead children.
• Sport-specific knowledge.
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & organize group activities.
• Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure safety of students.

Responsibilities

• Lead sports sessions focusing on fundamentals and skill development to a group of 20 elementary school kids.
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including good sportsmanship and teamwork and ensure the kids are having fun.
• Supervise the overall operation of designated after school sport, assist with snack time and take attendance and support program dismissal.
