Job summary

Willamalane is seeking a part-time, non-exempt Volleyball coach for middle school athletic programs. The role involves leading skill workouts, practices, and competitions while ensuring safety and proper paperwork.

The incumbent assists with supervision and fosters a positive, structured environment for youth participants. Responsibilities include planning practices and games, maintaining safe practice areas, reporting injuries, and attending relevant trainings.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalency with four years of experience in community education, parks and recreation, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and schedule practice and games for participants.
• Ensure practice areas are safe and free of hazards.
• Report participant injuries to the Recreation Supervisor and provide first aid as necessary.
• Carry and manage necessary paperwork including emergency forms and contact information.
• Oversee sign-out procedures and daily locker room checks.
• Attend coach meetings and trainings as required.
• Perform other duties as needed.
