This seasonal, part-time role requires a high school diploma, background checks, First Aid/CPR certification, and mandated safety courses; duties include on-court instruction, game-day support, practice execution, academic monitoring, and equipment management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• TBI background check and DCS registry check required.
• Active First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Annual completion of mandated safety courses (Concussions in Sports, SCA, Heat Illness Prevention).
• Faculty coaches must be certified teachers; non-faculty must complete coaching and health courses.

Responsibilities

• Instruction & Player Development: teach fundamentals and drills.
• Game-Day Support: assist head coach with bench coaching and statistics.
• Practice Execution: run drills, manage stations, supervise locker room.
• Academic & Eligibility Monitoring: track grades and behavior.
• Safety & Supervision: supervise student-athletes during travel and events.
• Equipment Management: set up gym equipment and clock operations.
