Job summary

Mathnasium of Humble South is seeking part-time instructors to teach math to K-12th grade students using the Mathnasium Method. This in-center role offers after-school and weekend hours with opportunities for advancement.

Ideal candidates are passionate about math, possess strong interpersonal skills, and are eager to learn and be trained. A math literacy test is part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Algebra I competency required; Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus & Calculus instructors earn $13–$17/hour.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
