Gideon Math & Reading is seeking friendly, reliable adults to join our after-school tutoring team in Irving, TX. You will guide small groups of students (ages 4 to 13) through Gideon curriculum, fostering independent learning at a calm, supportive table.

Training will be provided to ensure classroom readiness. Positions are ideal for college students or individuals with prior work experience who enjoy education, patient instruction, and helping children achieve their school goals.

Qualifications

• Must have completed high school.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Love working with children.
• Passionate about education.
• Patient and multitasking abilities.
• Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide up to 4 students at a time through Gideon curriculum.
• Be a positive and patient instructor for students.
• Keep students focused and assist with questions.
• Complete documentation of student progress and booklets.
• Maintain a quiet, productive learning environment at the table.
