Read Better Be Better is seeking an After-School Literacy Program Coach to deliver engaging literacy activities. You will usually be the only certified RBBB staff on site, overseeing a program with up to 32 students and coordinating with school staff and Leaders.
The role requires strong communication, patience, and the ability to manage two age groups with an outgoing personality. Flexible hours and meaningful mentorship opportunities are provided.

Job Title: After-School Literacy Program Coach
Employment: Part-time
Pay: $18-21/hour
Reports To: Program Coordinator
Work Hours: 5-10hours per weekfor the school year
Benefits: semesterly merit-based raises (a possible $0.50 increase each continued semester capping at $21/hour); professional development and mentorship opportunities

The Program Coach is responsible for delivering the Read Better Be Better after-school literacy program. The Program Coach will usually be the only certified RBBB employee on site, facilitating a program of up to 32 students.
The Program Coach may facilitate the RBBB K-1 program and/or the 2-3 program. The RBBB K-1 program is delivered to kindergarten/1st-grade Readers and their 4th/5th-grade Leaders; the RBBB 2-3 program is delivered to 2nd/3rd-grade Readers and their middle school Leaders.
This position is assigned to a Read Better Be Better after-school program site within the Avondale School District in Phoenix, Arizona.
