Eager Enrichment Inc. is hiring Eager Engineer instructors for after-school STEM classes for elementary students in Ohio.

You will lead engaging hands-on building activities using LEGO®, K'NEX®, Blocs, and other materials, following provided lesson plans, and help students develop creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills after school. This part-time role offers paid training, a flexible schedule, and opportunities to work at multiple schools (North Royalton, Avon Lake, Rocky River/Avon).

Formación

• Dependability, punctuality, organization, and ability to manage a group of children important.
• Comfort using mobile apps for communication and scheduling.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to assigned schools.
• Willingness to undergo a background check at our expense.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds for short periods to transport materials.

Since 2008, Eager Enrichment has inspired young minds through engaging, hands‑on after‑school programs. Our Eager Engineers curriculum brings STEM concepts to life for elementary students through exciting building challenges using LEGO®, K'NEX®, Blocs, and other creative materials.

As our programs continue to grow, we are seeking enthusiastic, dependable instructors to lead after‑school STEM classes for elementary students. If you enjoy building, exploring STEM concepts, and working with children, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference while earning supplemental income. We have also helped 23 instructors gain experience that supported their transition into full‑time teaching positions!

Available Positions – Winter/Spring 2027

We are hiring Eager Engineer instructors for the following locations and days:

• North Royalton: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
• Avon Lake: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• Rocky River/Avon: Monday ,Wednesday and Thursday

Schedule & Compensation

• Pay: $40 per one‑hour class
• Class times: After school, with classes beginning at 3:15 p.m.
• Training: Paid local training provided
• Schedule: Part‑time weekday afternoons, with opportunities based on location and availability

What You’ll Do

You’ll lead engaging STEM classes for students in Grades K–4 using lesson plans and materials provided by Eager Enrichment. Students participate in hands‑on building projects using LEGO®, K'NEX®, Blocs, and other engineering materials while developing creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Guiding students through structured, hands‑on building challenges
• Managing groups of up to 20 students
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Taking attendance and communicating with staff through mobile applications
• Following provided lesson plans and adapting your approach to keep students engaged

Qualifications
