Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Education or related field.
• Valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate.
• Meet minimum standards for certification per WV Policy 5202 and WV Code §18A-4-7a.
• Criminal background check conducted per WV Code §18A-3-10 and state requirements.
• Experience working with middle or secondary students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic instruction and enrichment opportunities aligned with student needs and program objectives.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and learning experiences.
• Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all participants.
• Monitor student progress using available data and communicate with families as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and program documentation.
• Collaborate with site staff to coordinate activities and events.
