Job summary

SFUSD is seeking a 2026-2027 OST Instructional Aide to support TK–5 students after school, delivering enrichment activities and supervision aligned with program goals.

You will assist with lesson plans, supervise indoor/outdoor activities, help foster positive behaviors, manage instructional materials, and coordinate with families during conferences and events. This part-time, school-year role offers supportive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and passed District Instructional Aide Exam, or CBEST, or 48 college units, or an Associate's degree or higher.
• Six units of Early Childhood Education required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated and OST staff in implementing lesson plans and enrichment activities.
• Supervise and engage students in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Support development of positive student behaviors and social skills.
• Assist students with instructional materials, equipment, and technology.
• Maintain attendance and program records; support basic clerical duties.
• Assist with snack distribution and field trips.
